Section I
THE FORGOTTEN FLAG
We begin by honoring the heroic exploit of a dirty- faced 19 year old PFC Marine, Luther R. Leguire, who amid sniper fire planted the stars and stripes on top of the US Ambassador's residence in Seoul, Korea on September 26, 1950. Follow his journey from sharecropper to battlefield to church pulpit today.
Section II
THE FORGOTTEN WAR
The 1951 Time Magazine Cover entitled 'G.I. Joe - Man of the Year' has slipped away. Following a general outline of the Korean War, you will discover for the first time many untold personal stories from our Veterans who actively fought in its battles. Stories that will touch your heart and were written for their children and grandchildren to read in a book.
Section III THE FORGOTTEN VICTORY
There is so much light in South Korea and only a slight glimmer in the North in this satellite photo of the Korean Peninsula. One country and one people separated only by the DMZ and two ideologies. South Korea has never forgotten and will be forever grateful to America for the sacrifices of its men and women who gave them freedom from their northern Communist neighbors.
